Catherine Dixon, BA (Hons), is a wellness coach, multi-discipline practitioner, writer, presenter and workshop leader in the habits of self-care and self-empowerment. She has spent over 20 years researching and refining a definition of “wellbeing” from a western and eastern perspective.
She is personally very committed to wellness. Having been through major life changes at three different periods in her life, including one which resulted in burn out and considerable loss, Catherine has learned important life lessons about self-empowerment, self-care and seeking external professional support.
In 2003, Catherine founded a London multi-practitioner wellbeing clinic where she learned the fundamentals skills and challenges of running a wellness business. This included spending 6 years working as an aftercare specialist in addiction recovery clinics (for the NHS and in the private sector) supporting thousands of clients in both group and one-to-one environments.
In 2010, she was invited to join the high-profile St. Barnabas team, championing homeless people wishing to re-enter the workforce.
Since 2012, Catherine has delivered over 700 national events and workshops throughout the UK on Wellness, Inclusive Leadership, Resilience, and Engagement.
Through delivering events, public speaking, writing and working with several thousand people from all walks of life, Catherine has built a substantial portfolio of experience and specific skills related to optimal well-being and quality of life.
